Islamabad United Squad, Match Schedule – PSL 2019
Islamabad United also known as ‘IU’ is a very strong team and inaugural champion of the PSL. The team is owned by Leonine Global Investments (Amna Naqvi and Ali Naqvi).
In the first PSL tournament, Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United reached the Final and Islamabad United defeated Quetta Gladiators and won the PSL title. Again in the third season of the PSL, it won the title by defeating Peshawar Zalmi by 3 wickets. IU’s home ground is Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium coached by Dean Jones, the former Australian player.
According to the sources, Mohammad Sami is named the captain of the team in Pakistan Super League 2019. Ali Naqvi announced on Monday and appreciated Mohammad Sami. He considers Mohammad Sami a true match winner and an amazing bowler for the PSL.
